Hi, my name is Joel Quist. I have been in the structural and ornamental steel business for 30 years. My brother Rich,

when he was in the Boilermakers in the bay area told me I should become a welder, they were making all the money. I

went to welding school in Sacramento for six months and was certified in stick welding (SMAW). I joined the Ironworkers

in 1988 and certified in flux core (FCAW). Since, my work has led me all over California, back east and overseas. I have

worked on buildings as big as Staples Arena in Los Angeles to things as little as brackets and buckets for homes. I enjoy

the trade and feel fortunate to be as versatile as I am. I also detail my work with the latest version of AUTOCAD for a

      perfect fit.

I specialize in exposed structural steel. If you would be interested in viewing my work please look through the Photos

and projects listed in this websites Projects List. If after doing so, and you like what you see and your schedule permits,

I would like to interview for a position that allows me to think and plan as well as organize and produce at the level I am

      accustomed to.
